Program Description: OSU Junior Academy Program
OSU Junior Academy
The OSU Junior Academy is the training and team environment program, for players participating at a competitive level, in the U9-U13 age groups.
Within the OSU Junior Academy, the program consists of three tiers of competition (Premier, Tier 1 & Tier 2). Players are placed at an appropriate competition tier, which can be adjusted at anytime, when appropriate to do so.
The OSU Junior Academy Program is coordinated and delivered by our professional coaching team, through a proven training curriculum, focused on individual skill (technical) development, developing athletic ability along with game understanding. Each team will have a trained OSU Coach, supported by Club Coordinators who oversee the development process for participants and teams in the Academy.
The OSU Junior Academy Program is offered at minimum, three times per week on average, including two training events (practices) and one game most weeks. Players will also participate in festivals or events externally in Ottawa or beyond, depending on their competition tier.
Participants in the OSU Junior Academy will most often graduate into the Force Academy U14-Adult), to continue their development journey, and benefit from additional soccer training each week (see more below).
