OSU OPDL Program

Be part of Ottawa's most successful OPDL Program, competing against the top teams from across Ontario & Quebec each season. 

OSU is a founding member of the OPDL Program, beginning in 2014. Since this time, as one of 28 clubs across Ontario in the program, OSU has consistently been ranked amongst the top in Ontario and #1 in Ottawa for performance, with our teams regularly featuring in the provincial finals. 

In 2024, OSU had the most successful club season to date for any club - featuring an incredible five provincial finalist/championship teams.

Program Description: OSU OPDL Program

OPDL (Ontario Player Development League)

The OSU OPDL Program is the training and team environment program, for players participating at the highest level of competition in Canada level, in the U13-U17 age groups.

The OSU OPDL Program is designed to provide the optimal training and competition experience for elite youth athletes, focusing on team performance and individual success, on their pathway to provincial, national, professional and university opportunities.

The OSU OPDL Program is offered at minimum, four times per week, through a proven training methodology including technical, tactical and physical training sessions.

Participants in the OSU OPDL Program will most often graduate into the Ligue1 Semi-Professional pathway in OSU, and be scouted for opportunities with Provincial, National, Professional and University Programs.
